The Acoustic Nights Montreal Gala 2012 was on Sun, Sept 30, 2012, 7pm (doors at 6pm) at La Sala Rossa, 4848 St-Laurent, Montreal, 514-284-0122.
Special Event
Hosted by Melina Soochan, this special chapter of Acoustic Nights Montreal featured the winners of the June 23, 2012 ANMTSC.
Laurie Martin, Kassandra Chamberland and Jimmy Khayata performed their original songs accompanied by a full professional band, to open the concert, along with Melina Soochan, for the headliner of this special event, the group Which Is Which.

Sabrina Correa
Sabrina
Correa is a soulful singer-songwriter trained in Classical and
Jazz. She holds a bachelor's degree in Jazz Performance from McGill
University. Her compositions can be heard on radio stations throughout
the city. Sabrina's performances have also been broadcasted on Canadian
television networks, including CTV, Bravo, and Musique Plus. She has
performed at venues such as: The Montreal Casino, Place-des-Arts Montreal,
The Montreal International Jazz Festival's Tribute
to Paul Simon Concert, to name a few. Solo or with her band
The Coral Reefs, Sabrina delivers each performance with heartfelt
passion. -
Melina Soochan
Montrealer Melina
Soochan presents a unique blend of pop, indie, jazz and blues.
Graduate from McGill's renown music program, she has recorded 2 albums
and filmed 3 music videos, one of which is currently on rotation on
Bravo and CJNT. Apart from performing regularly at prestigious venues
like House of Jazz, Upstairs, and the Casinos of Montreal and Mont
Tremblant, she also gives back to the community through her organization,
Acoustic Nights Montreal, which hosts an annual teen songwriting competition. -
Kassandra Chamberlad
15-year
old Kassandra Chamberland, from l'Assomption,
QC, won the 2nd prize in the ANMTSC
2012. She's now in grade 10 at École Armand-Corbeil and loves
performing on stage. -
Laurie Martin
17-year
old Laurie Martin, from Montreal, QC, won
the 1st prize in the ANMTSC
2012. She's now in the first year at CEGEP De Maisonneuve. Laurie
and her guitar are all set to make music. -
Jimmy Khayata
17-year
old Jimmy Khayata, from Saint-Laurent,
QC, won the 3rd prize in the ANMTSC
2012. He's a student of Liberal Arts at Dawson College. -
Which Is Which
From
hip-hop to country with a hint of techno pop, Which
Is Which have managed to reach a perfect magical rock sound. Lyrics
mixed with the heartfelt melodies result in unique, playful and festive
songs, whether they are singing about their dying Unicorn or a cheating
Centaur, a Zombie’s party or a friendly Dragon.
