Best Teen Songwriters of 2012!

We can be proud of our teens. They are creative, talented, focused and passionate about their craft. They are the new generation of singer-songwriters who carve their way onto the music scene. They are our present and our future.

The Top 10 finalists in the 2nd annual Acoustic Nights Montreal Teen Songwriting Competition performed their original songs in front of a keen audience of family, friends and music industry professionals and impressed the judges with their talent and dedication. It was a tight race but in the end these are the winners.

Remember in a few years that you saw and heard them here first!

The winners of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prize also got to perform at the Acoustic Nights Montreal 2012 Gala on September 30 at La Sala Rossa, 4848 St-Laurent, Montreal.

1st Prize: Laurie Martin, 17 (Montréal, QC)

2nd Prize: Kassandra Chamberland, 15 (L'Assomption, QC)

3rd Prize: Jimmy Khayata, 17 (Saint-Laurent, QC)

People's Choice: Charly Corbeil, 17 (Saint-Césaire, QC)

Random Draw: Kevin St-Pierre, 14 (Montréal, QC)
