The songwriting workshop is intended to make the participant more comfortable in front of a crowd and to help hone their songwriting skills. Participation by all competition applicants is highly encouraged.

This workshop is part of the teen competition package. However a limited number of non-competitors of all ages may also participate, subject to a small $10 fee.

At the workshop, participants under 18 years of age must be accompanied by their parent/guardian, who will sign a release form before the workshop starts. Please arrive 15min early.

Parents/guardians are allowed to supervise the workshop, provided there is space on the premises, but they must not disturb the workshop.
